Improving access to better livelihood and sustainable earning opportunities for young people
A society where young people have access to decent jobs and contribute to sustainable economic growth
The world is a big place with a lot of complex problems, problems that need solving. Problems of poverty, lack of affordable health care, water, quality education, a growing food crisis, modern day slavery and human trafficking, lack of decent job opportunities form young people among a plethora of countless problems.
None of these problems are more important than the other, the socio-economic effects of one is just as devastating as the other. No matter how well intentioned our efforts toward problem solving are, it’s easy to get lost in the process or worse create more problems than we are solving.
This is why we have aligned our efforts towards problem solving to two of the sustainable development goals. At Mentor-Box, we are committed to solving the SDG’s 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG’S 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure).
Our approach to creating opportunities for job creation and economic growth is by being an enabler of development oriented policies that support productive activities, decent job creation, skills development, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation.
